The Woodbury Fire Department has been very busy since the last post of a response.Woodbury Fire has responded to several brushfires, One residential structure fire, A fire alarm, and most recent a two vehicle, MVA at the intersection of W. Adams St. And Main Street.

Members of the Woodbury Fire Department have also been very busy with training,washing hose,and maintaining equipment

Woodbury Fire Department was dispatched to a carbon monoxide detector activation along with EMA on Sycamore Creek Road yesterday morning around 7:00 am.
Engine 9 responded and staged at the intersection of Gassaway Highway and Sycamore Creek Road,Awaiting further orders from The captain of the Woodbury Fire Department.
Shortly after EMA released the Woodbury Fire Department as of the resident had a malfunction with the detector.

Woodbury Fire Department was dispatched to a residential fire alarm activation on Robert avenue this morning around 10 am.
Engine 6 was directed to remain at the station due to road conditions.Firefighters that had arrived on scene from POV’s declared the scene was safe due to a homeowner accidentally activating the alarm.

Responders that went direct to the scene were the Asst. Chief,captain,and one firefighter from the Woodbury Fire Department as well as an Engineer that remained at the station with Engine 6.

Woodbury Fire Department was dispatched to a working structure fire on Johnson Hollow Road this morning. When Engine 9 arrived flames where through the roof and the structure was declared fully involved.Firefighters from Engine 9 deployed a 2 1/2 attack line and were able to get a quick knock down on the fire. Crews remained on scene for several hours for overhaul operations.Everyone was able to exit the structure safely. The home was a total loss.

The American Red Cross was notified for the home owner

Cannon County Fire was requested for mutual aid man power and water tendering
