Huge congratulations to Assemblywoman Heather Simmons and Assemblyman Dave Bailey, Jr. for each being honored by the National Foundation for Women Legislators (NFWL) and The Energy Efficiency Alliance - EEA, respectively.

Assemblywoman Simmons was honored as a NFWL 2026 Woman of Excellence for her leadership, service, and impact. Assemblyman Bailey was honored by EEANJ for his commitment to taking action on energy costs.

Both make extremely proud, and we appreciate all they do to make a positive difference in and our state at large.

We are excited to share some great news: Jefferson, Weng & Gattinelli for Gloucester County Commissioner has been endorsed by the Gloucester County Education Association!

The GCEA conducted a fair and good-faith endorsement process that was open to all candidates for county commissioner, and they have placed their confidence in Jim Jefferson, Matt Weng & Joann Gattinelli as the best candidates for education in .

From forging the groundbreaking partnership between Rowan College of South Jersey and Rowan University to expanding opportunities for students with disabilities to establishing the state’s very first veterinary school, Gloucester County Democrats have a long and proud record of strongly supporting education and achieving real, tangible results.

We are grateful to the educators of for the phenomenal work they do every day to teach and care for our students, and we are thankful for the GCEA’s endorsement and support in this year’s election!
