For Black History Month, Assemblyman Spearman highlights the living legacy of Macedonia AME Church: a spiritual home, a community anchor, and a historic force in Camden since 1832. More than a house of worship, Macedonia AME was a refuge and a lifeline; a stop on the Underground Railroad where freedom seekers found protection, courage, and hope. Generations have walked through its doors, carrying forward a story of faith, resilience, and freedom.

Para el Mes de la Historia Negra, el Asambleísta Spearman destaca el legado vivo de la Iglesia Macedonia AME: un hogar espiritual, un pilar de la comunidad y una fuerza histórica en Camden desde 1832. Más que un lugar de adoración, Macedonia AME fue un refugio y un salvavidas; una parada en el Ferrocarril Subterráneo donde los que buscaban la libertad encontraban protección, valor y esperanza.
