Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office Announces Capture of Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives
Woodbury, NJ — Sheriff Carmel Morina is pleased to announce the successful apprehension of Jake Mitchell, Melissa Tamaska. Darius Triplett, and Erica Rodrigues from the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitives.
Mitchell was wanted on charges of 3rd degree Possession of CDS/Analog 2C:35-10A (1) and 3rd degree Conspiracy 2C:5-2A (1). He was apprehended without incident on May 1, 2026 by the New Jersey State Police and subsequently lodged in the Cape May County Jail.
Tamaska was wanted on Violation of Probation stemming from an original charge of 3rd degree Receiving Stolen Property (2C:20-7A). Through cooperative law enforcement efforts, Tamaska was apprehended on May 22, 2026 by the Camden County Police Department without incident and lodged in the Camden County Jail pending further judicial proceedings.
Triplett was wanted on charges of 2C:29-9B (2) Contempt – Violate Domestic Violence Restraining Order. The Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit located him in Woodbury, NJ and was taken into custody without incident.
Rodriques was wanted on three Failure to Appear warrants stemming from original charges of Aggravated Assault, Theft, and Contempt – Violate Domestic Violence Order. The Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit dedicated countless hours trying to locate Rodrigues and made several attempts to apprehend her. Despite these efforts, Rodrigues was able to evade capture for an extended period of time. On May 17, 2026 through coordinated efforts between the GCSO Fugitive Unit and the New Jersey State Police, Rodrigues was successfully apprehended in Atlantic City without incident.
Sheriff Morina commends the Fugitive Unit for their persistent efforts and the partnerships with the New Jersey State Police and Camden County Police Department with successfully apprehending these fugitives. The Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone with information regarding wanted fugitives to contact local law enforcement or the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the Sheriff’s Office website.
This brings the total fugitive apprehensions to 264 since the inception of Sheriff Morina’s Top Ten Most Wanted List.
