Our team took the scenic route to work today! 🚲☀️

Ahead of National Bike to Work Day this Friday, members of our Parks & Recreation team, joined by the City Administrator, biked a combined 85+ miles round trip to work today!

With sunshine and warm temps in the forecast, we challenge you to get out and ride to a favorite or new park!

Woodbury Parks & Recreation and Woodbury, MN Police Fire EMS continue to work to inform and educate our community about various e-transportation modes. As Spring arrives, we remind all riders to prioritize safety and use good trail etiquette.

• E-motos are not permitted in city parks or on city trails. These devices can throttle more than 20 mph. Street legal e-motos must be licensed with the State of Minnesota before operation on roadways.
• Electric-assisted bike (e-bike) riders must be at least 15 years of age, per state law.
• E-scooter users must be at least 12 years old and must wear a helmet, per state law.
• Gas-powered/combustible modes are not permitted in city parks or city trails, and only allowed on city streets if properly licensed.

As the use of these modes of transportation increase our officers will be in the community talking with riders and connecting with guardians to ensure our community stays safe.

🚧 Construction Alert! 🚧
The Bailey Road entrance to the M Health Fairview Sports Center is currently closed due to water treatment pipeline construction.

During May, visitors may experience extra traffic and limited parking during weekend tournaments and events. Please park in designated spaces only. No parking on grass, in no parking zones, or blocking drive aisles or sidewalks. Additional parking signage will be posted during busy weekends.

The City of Woodbury outdoor athletic fields are closed today, Monday, April 27, due to wet field conditions. Please do not use the fields as they are vulnerable to damage when wet. Thank you for your cooperation!
