My husband and I have been renovating the old barn reception hall that used to be called The Little Red Barn in Woodburn, IN in hopes of opening it up as a reception hall once again. This page was made to reach out to people who have attended events at The Little Red Barn in the past and get stories and pictures to help us with our renovations. It opened in the 50s I believe and went out of busine
ss in the 70s. It was pretty run down by the time we purchased the property. We have added a new roof, fixed the upstairs hard wood floors, added new coats of paint, and we are now adding bathrooms. The barn can accommodate parties up to 200 people but we plan on building out within the next two years, so we can accommodate up to 300 people. We are not officially a business yet but we hope to be soon with your help and feedback. The barn is open to walk through with appointments. We have held about 8 beautiful weddings in it so far including our own and hope to have many more beautiful events including family reunions, birthday parties, anniversary parties/renewal of vows, etc. I am an ordained minister and can perform ceremonies, and I am also going through event planning/coordinator classes. Its a beautiful venue for a country experience.
