Hey friends 👋🏽 We are fundraising to install a rainwater catchment system, and we can’t do it without your help!

As we all know, water has been a big topic these days as it is reflected in our environment and community. Low reservoirs, ranchers selling their herds, farmers unable to plant, irrigation being cut off, dry landscapes, the list goes on.

It all circles back to the need for water. So please, help us give back to our community by growing food year-round with the access to water 💧

🗣We need your help 🗣

Due to the critical conditions of the drought and the changes (less and less rainwater) over the years, we have come to the point of needing to fundraise for water storage tanks.

We have met with rainwater catchment specialists and will be installing gutters on existing buildings to catch the rainwater and store it in tanks. This will enable us to plant and harvest year-round.

You may have noticed our farm stand has closed, simply because of the drought. It was a short, sweet, and bountiful harvest. Now we must shift gears and fundraise for water catchment system.

Apricots at the stand this afternoon 🍑 when we moved into the family house on the ranch we had no idea how prolific this tree would be, and honestly we are probably the first in many years to be picking with determination. Mario has been on the ladder with a fruit picker we've borrowed from almost every day (clearly time to get our own). The tree seems to be happy with our interaction + enjoyment 🧡 or maybe that's just my inner hippy talk 😉
