On Saturday the City of Wood Dale hosted our annual Veterans Day Breakfast - Banner Retirement Ceremony. It was an absolute honor to once again serve our Veterans and their families!

This morning the city along with VFW Tioga Post 2149 hosted a Veterans Day Ceremony at Memorial Park. Thank you to everyone who made it out and most importantly a big thank you to all who have served our great country!!

Great to volunteer once again this year at the City of Wood Dale sponsored Senior Club Meeting at Wood Dale Park District! Today the city provided an awesome lunch from Sweet Baby Ray's Restaurant & Catering and shared some updates on things going on in Wood Dale. It was great to see everyone - Thanks for having us!

That’s a wrap on City of Wood Dale Prairie Fest 2025. This year was super special and it was a pleasure to have a part in planning the fest with our special events committee. We appreciate all feedback as we look to grow the fest to be bigger and better every year. So proud of how far Prairie Fest has come and genuinely love showing off our beautiful city to everyone who makes their way out here for the annual fest.

Big thank you to the Wood Dale Police Department and Wood Dale Fire District for keeping our event safe! Thank you to the Public Works team for a ton of hard work not only during the fest but also the setup and takedown days before and after! Thank you to our admin, communications, marketing, and events staff for executing the plan and keeping everything running smooth. Thank you to Entertainment Management Group - EMG for again helping us book some amazing bands and securing the stage and sound. Thank you to all our food vendors for providing so many great options every day! Thank you to Church Street Brewing Company for being our beer vendor this year! Thank you to the Wood Dale Lions Club for volunteering your time all four days raising money to put back into the community. Thank you to all of our very generous sponsors who really are a huge part of making this event possible! Thank you again to the Wood Dale Park District and Wood Dale School District 7 for sharing your land to make this large of a festival a reality! Finally thank you to everyone who showed up and had fun with family and friends! We hope you had an absolute blast!

Night 3 of City of Wood Dale Prairie Fest has come and gone. Another amazing turnout with thousands of people out enjoying the carnival, live music, and our next level fireworks show. Hope you all had a great time!!

Today marks the final day of Prairie Fest. Gates open at 12:30pm with the carnival starting up at 1pm. Today at 2pm we have ZOWA Live Pro Wrestling for the third year in a row. This has become a big part of prairie fest and a fan favorite for sure. I would recommend getting there early to get some good ringside seats! While out there make sure to grab some food from our amazing vendors and stop by the Church Street Brewing Company tent for some great drink options!

Tonight the live music starts up again at 5:15pm with Petty Union and then 7th heaven will take the stage to close out Prairie Fest 2025!

Reminder today is your last chance to purchase 50/50 raffle tickets from the Wood Dale Lions Club. Be sure to grab some tickets for your chance to win! The Lions Club will pull the winner tonight before 7th Heaven plays (you do not have to be present to win).

Night two of City of Wood Dale Prairie Fest is in the books. Thank you to the thousands of you who came out to see Everclear last night - hope you had a great time!!

Tonight is a big night!!! The gates are open and carnival is running now, Live music begins at 3pm all the way until 11pm with fireworks tonight between Alt 101 and Too Hype Crew.

Get out there early to get your spot, grab some dinner from our amazing food vendors, and stop over at the Church Street Brewing Company tent to try a limited edition Prairie Fest Pils or any of their other great drink options!

Reminder we are again this year selling 50/50 raffle tickets for the Wood Dale Lions Club. Make sure to grab some tickets for your chance to win! The Lions Club will pull the winner on Sunday night and you do not have to be present to win.

ITS HAPPENING! City of Wood Dale Prairie Fest starts tonight!!

Stopped out this morning and everything is coming together nicely. Gates open at 5:30pm with the live music and carnival starting at 6pm.

Tonight is resident appreciation night. All Wood Dale residents get a free $7 food voucher for use at any of our amazing food vendors (good for tonight only).

I will be at the city tent handing out vouchers tonight and will also be volunteering with the Wood Dale Lions Club throughout the 4 day fest selling 50/50 Raffle tickets. In May of last year I was appointed to be on our Special Events Committee. It has been a blast to be a part of the team planning out the 2025 City of Wood Dale Prairie Fest! The biggest goal this year was to get a headliner that would appeal to a larger audience and help bring even more attention to our amazing city. Our events committee along with city staff has been hard at work on this year's fest since July of last year and I think it's safe to say we hit the ball out of the park in landing this years headliner Everclear! This band has sold over 6 million records, released 12 top 40 hits, and has multiple platinum selling albums! Special thanks to Entertainment Management Group - EMG for partnering with the city to secure a great music lineup this year!

Aside from Everclear on Friday night the entire 4 days will be packed with amazing music spanning multiple genres, a great carnival, a wide variety of food and beverage choices, a top tier fireworks show on Saturday, and returning for a 3rd year in a row we have ZOWA Live Wrestling on Sunday!!
