Storm cleanup time? If you live within the Village of Wonder Lake, don't forget that Public Works does a monthly brush pickup over the summer. The next collection is June 25th, but you must register in advance here:

Thinking about riding an e-bike in unincorporated McHenry County? Here’s what you should know. 🚲

Unincorporated areas of McHenry County follow Illinois state law regarding electric bicycles. However, municipalities and park districts may have additional local ordinances or restrictions related to bike paths, sidewalks, and trail access.

Before riding, always check local rules for the area you plan to visit.

This position will perform a variety of maintenance work for the municipal water system throughout the Village. Work will mainly be performed outdoors. Village President Dan Dycus met with MTFPD officials, including Chief Rudy Horist, to personally notify them that an independent fire flow test will be conducted to address concerns raised by MTFPD in a letter to the Village President regarding fire flow in the Stonewater subdivision. The test results will be made available to both MTFPD and the public through the Village's website.
