We will be temporarily de-energizing the electrical line on Pork Hill Road to make necessary repairs. Power is expected to be restored within approximately one hour from now.

We are aware of the recent town wide outage and have discovered it was due to a provider issue on the transmission line coming into Wolfeboro. The power has been restored. If you still do not have power, please call our office at 603-569-6975!

Big Barndoor Island's power is back on as of 10:38am 5/22/26!

Starting 5/22/26 @ 8:30am, there will be an outage affecting Barndoor Island and Little Barndoor Island to perform necessary repairs to damages caused over the winter. This outage will last about 2 hours. Thank you for understanding!

Please help us in congratulating Brody! Alongside two lineworkers from Hudson Light & Power, he competed in the annual NEPPA Lineworkers rodeo. Together, they brought home the 3rd place overall trophy.

Our vegetation management program will be in full swing starting Monday. We will have two crews from Northern Tree working throughout our service territory.

If you see them working, please give them plenty of room to operate safely.

As a reminder, proper vegetation management is the #1 deterrent against nuisance outages and helps us provide reliable electric service to our customers.

Planned Outage Notice - Orchards Lane (Alton)

Tomorrow starting at 8:00am, our crews will be working on Orchards Lane in Alton.

To safely complete the work, power will be temporarily interrupted for: Pipers Point, Barndoor Island, Little Barndoor Island, Kenniston Island, and Melody Island.

Islands: 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon.

Orchards Lane: 2-hour outage.

Due to inclement weather, our crews were unable to complete the planned electrical upgrade at Baileys Bubble. This work has been rescheduled to begin at 7:00pm on Thursday.

Please plan accordingly, as some parking spaces along Railroad Avenue will again be coned off during this time.

As you may have noticed, some parking spaces on Railroad Avenue have been coned off. This is in preparation for utility work.

Our crews will begin a necessary service upgrade at Baileys Bubble tonight starting at 7:00PM. We appreciate your patience during this work.

Warming Center this Weekend.
Dangerously cold temperatures are expected this coming weekend. Forecasters have issued a "Hazardous Weather Outlook," warning that the coldest air of the season will persist through the weekend. Snow is also anticipated.

In light of this forecast, the Wolfeboro Public Library will be open from 9:30am – 3:00pm pm Saturday, January 24th for regular hours and will then remain open as a warming center for all Wolfeboro residents through Monday, January 26th. Cots and blankets will be available. Feel free to show up anytime. You do not need to call ahead.

Please be sure to monitor for frozen pipes and use caution when using space heaters. If you have an emergency, please immediately call 911.
