Dangerous winter weather is possible next week with potentially an historic cold air outbreak late Tuesday through Thursday. Highs could remain below zero on Wednesday with lows around -15 and wind chill values below -25. There is also potential for significant snow on Monday. Exact amounts are difficult to pinpoint right now, but there is potential for around six inches or more…especially north of US-24. If this does occur, considerable blowing and drifting snow will be possible during the midweek cold air outbreak. Continue to monitor the forecast closely and consider making preparations now.
