It was just one more car tire floating on the water at Horn Pond. But when it was pulled out there was a big Snapping Turtle stuck inside and sadly the turtle was dead. There was also an aluminum can inside the tire.
Woburn Animal Control was called to retrieve the turtle and Mark from DPW has also collected the car tire.

Despite all the fishing lines and lures being retrieved at Horn Pond, today a female Canada Goose and mother of 2 goslin...

Despite all the fishing lines and lures being retrieved at Horn Pond, today a female Canada Goose and mother of 2 goslings was found by Tom Luongo with fishing line entangled in one of her feet. The line seems to be loose, hopefully she will get help tomorrow. 🙏
