Council of Social Concern (with legal name of Woburn Council of Social Concern, Inc) was founded in 1969 by a group of concerned citizens who wanted to promote a sense of "neighborliness" in the community and address the absence of quality, affordable childcare and housing issues. Today, the Council of Social Concern assists over 2,700 individuals per year, with the support of approximately 270 vo

lunteers. We provide a range of services to address community needs:

💙 June is Men's Mental Health Month 💙

Mental health matters for everyone, and this month serves as an important reminder that it's okay for men to ask for help, talk about their feelings, and prioritize their well-being.

Too often, men face pressure to stay silent about struggles with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

If you or someone you know needs support, these resources are available:
📞 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline – Call or text 988
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI): nami.org
Mental Health America: mhanational.org
HeadsUpGuys: headsupguys.org
Man Therapy: mantherapy.org

This month, let's help break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage open conversations, support, and understanding.
