With heavy heart, I am letting you know that one of beloved classmates, Cathy Pepe, has suddenly passed away. Below is the notice from Lynch-Cantillon funeral home.
She was a unique and extremely talented person. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by many. May she rest in peace.

CATHY M. (PEPE) PETERSON – of Woburn, died unexpectedly, December 6th at the age of sixty-nine. Beloved daughter of the late John W. and Mary L. (Buonanno) Pepe. Cherished sister of Beverly Robinson, her husband Kenneth of Danvers, MA and Punta Gorda, FL. Treasured niece of Loretta Lentz, her husband Ralph of Woburn. Adored aunt of Desiree Stevens along with her children Nathan, Camille, and Gianna. Cathy is also survived by her dear friend and cousin, Carl Restivo and his wife June, as well as many other cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 11-12 noon, with a prayer service to follow at noon, on Thursday, December 14th at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home 263 Main St., Woburn. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cathy’s memory to Woburn Feral Cat Coalition PO Box 3127, Woburn, MA, United States, Massachusetts

Sadly we have lost another beautiful soul from our Class. Debbie Barnes was called home in April 27th. Below is her death notice. The details of her services are pending at this time. As soon they are completed I will update this post.

Deborah Ann (Barnes) Awan – in Port Richey, FL, formerly of Woburn, April 27th. Beloved daughter of the late William and Ann (Lockey) Barnes. Devoted sister of Rosiland Barnes. Cherished Aunt of Raymond Veno of Woburn, Randall Veno, his wife Jessica of NC, Kristen Veno and Brian Killen of NH, and Lt. Ryan Veno, his wife Shannon of NH. Dearest great Aunt of Jameson, Jacob, Joshua and Atlee. Also survived by many loving friends. Funeral arrangements are presently incomplete and will be announced later in the week. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn.

A Funeral will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street on Friday, May 20th at 11:15 a.m. Interment is private. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a pay their respects from 9:30 – 11:15, PRIOR to the Service.

Here’s the update on our reunion! 50 years, let’s make it a great one!!

The Reunion Committees from the Class of 1971 and the Class of 1972 decided to get together to have a joint celebration for our 50th! Please come and join in the fun! St. Charles Classes of 1971 and 1972 also welcome!

Date: Saturday, October 16, 2021

Time: 7pm – midnight

Place: Woburn Country Club, 5 Country Club Lane, Woburn, MA

Venue: Cocktail Party – cash bar, serving appetizers and cheese tray, coffee and a cake for dessert (no main meal so that we can spend the time socializing and dancing – so eat before you come!) DJ: Scott Martelluci

Tickets: Only $45 per person in advance, $55 pp at the door Please purchase as soon as you can so we can plan accordingly and you can avoid the last minute added expense at the door.

How to order a ticket:

1. Send a check to committee member (’71) Roberta Clements as soon as you can to her home: Roberta Clements 8 Emerald Drive, Salem, New Hampshire 03079
Be sure to let her know how many tickets, what class you are in AND send your email address so she can send a confirmation to you. Your confirmation email is your ticket.

2. If you don’t want to bother with the US mail, you can Venmo Roberta. Her Venmo account is: -clements-1 but if you simply search for her name it shows up with her picture. Again, if you order your tickets this way, be sure to let her know what class you are in, how many tickets (obviously) and send your email address to her so she can respond with your confirmation, which is your ticket.
