Today the Wixom Firefighters Foundation had the privilege of spreading some holiday cheer with our friends at Huron Valley Ambulance (Wixom quarters). Quality rest in your down time will help ensure the safety of our great citizens and bussiness.

Spread a little Christmas cheer this season with this! ❄️ ❄️ ❄️

Results from BWS 2020:

1) Over 100 generous businesses donated to help fund this years BWS event. 💰

2) Nearly 100 families participated in this years BWS event- each receiving a gift and a chance to see Santa! 🎅🏻

3) 600 lbs of non-perishable food items were collected and donated to the Hospitality House food pantry in Walled Lake. 🥫🥫🥫

Thank you to every one that donated, participated, and made this beloved event possible!

Our BWS event is still scheduled to run. Please see details below for any and all changes!

At this time, Breakfast with Santa is still scheduled to take place. Registration and details below.

When: December 12, 2020 8am-11am
Where: Wixom Fire Department- 1345 N. Wixom Rd, Wixom, MI, 48393

Due to COVID-19, Breakfast with Santa will differ from years past to keep ourselves and the community safe.

What is going to change??
This years event will take place at the Wixom Fire Department rather than the Wixom Community Center. We will be using the Wixom Fire Station in a "drive-thru" capacity. While breakfast will not be provided, those registered will still get the chance to see & receive a gift from Ol' Saint Nick himself. More information regarding the event will be posted.

The head of a company survived 9/11 because his son started Kindergarten. Another man was alive because it was his turn to bring donuts. One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go off on time. Another was late, stuck on the NJ Turnpike because of an accident and his life was spared. One missed his bus. One spilled food on her clothes and had to take the time to change. One's car wouldn't start. One couldn't get a taxi. One went back to answer the house phone. A man who put on a new pair of shoes that morning developed a blister before he got to the Towers, so he stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.

When you're stuck in traffic, oversleep, miss your ride...all the little things that annoy you...maybe you're exactly where you're meant to be at that very moment. May all who perished on 9.11.01 Rest in Eternal Peace & may the loved ones still grieving find strength. 🙏🏼❤️🇺🇸 🎗

Today we received a phone call from our local Community Financial Credit Union. We were nominated in their summer of sharing program and were picked as one of the winners. We would like to say thank you to our local branch for being an amazing part of the community and thinking of the Wixom Firefighters Foundation.
