September is National Preparedness Month. At United Way, we help train the Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) for Wood County. The VRC helps organize volunteers when a disaster strikes, making recovery efforts more coordinated and efficient. Only trained volunteers can staff the VRC upon activation. Next VRC training is November 18th from 5:30-7:00 pm. More information can be found at https://www.uwswac.org/vrc
