Come join us for story time at the WPL Children's Room every Friday during the month of May. It is a half hour of singing songs, reading stories and using our artistic talents to complete a special story-related activity. It is a fun time for all! We look forward to seeing you!

Spring has arrived and Midcoast Maine is coming alive! This is our first celebration of a very special time in Wiscasset and Second Hand Prose (the Used Book Room) is having a special sale to mark this time. This is the perfect time to add to your book collection. The Used Book Room has a wonderful selection of almost-new books for all ages. To celebrate this special season. We are holding a special sale on Saturday, May 9 th . Bring your own bag and fill it for only $5.00.

The sale will start at 10:30 am and end at 1:00pm.

We hope you will stop by, say hello and add to your personal library. We look forward to welcoming our long-time patrons and introducing new patrons to this valuable resource of our wonderful town. The Wiscasset Public Library is located at 21 High Street.

Friends Turn 60 - April 23 at 5PM

The Friends of the Wiscasset Public Library are celebrating 60 years of service to the community beginning with a special event on April 23rd. Generations of Friends members have dedicated their time, creativity and commitment to building an organization that serves our community.

The reception will be held in the Wiscasset Public Library, 21 High Street, beginning at 5:00pm. We hope that you will be able to join us as we celebrate and honor the men and women who started this organization that strengthens our community through their dedication.
