Good morning and happy Sunday, Winthrop Harbor!

Today is the final day of Harbor Days, and what a festival it has been. Thank you to our sponsors, our volunteers, our Village staff, and our elected officials. An event of this size takes every one of you pulling in the same direction, and you delivered. This has been one of the biggest events our community has seen in many, many years, and we are grateful for every bit of the support. Thank you as well to everyone who came out and took part.

It has been great to see neighbors and friends reconnect all weekend long. This has been amazing.

We're closing it out with Community Day today at Village Park, and there is plenty left to enjoy:

Petting Zoo, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Meet, feed, and make some new friends.

Carnival. Rides, games, and treats all day.

Yard Games. Bags, lawn games, and a little friendly competition.
Parents & Kids Softball Game, 1:00 PM. Ages 4 to 15 and their families.

Judson Brown Band on the Main Stage, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Acoustic rock, pop, and country to send Harbor Days 2026 out in style.

Plus local vendors, food, and family fun throughout the park.

What a way to start a Saturday.

Thank you to everyone who came out to 38 Acres at the Stage this morning for yoga with Real Hot Yoga, and stuck around for the Bloody Mary bar afterward. The turnout, the energy, and the weather all cooperated beautifully.

A special thank you to Trustee Alanna Whitmore for sponsoring the event, to the team at Real Hot Yoga for leading a great class, and to 38 Acres at the Stage for hosting us.
