Tuskawilla Shepherds, Inc. All funds raised are used to buy food for school pantries. Harry (Corky) Arthur founded Tuskawilla Shepherds in 1993.

We were originally formed to provide, prepare and serve meals for the homeless. Over the last 25 years, we have served over 600,000 meals. For over the last decade, we have focused on the Fresh Start program in Orlando. In the few year we began collecting and dispersing funds for the Tuskawilla Food Bank, A Minitstry of: Tuskawilla United Methodist Church. They distribute food to an average of 400 families bi-monthly. They average 40+ volunteers bi-monthly to meet this mission. We have also given emergency assistance to individuals for medical, food and housing needs. Individuals or groups that know of our existence usually do this on a referral basis. Part of our success comes from the fact that none of the donated funds are used for the maintenance of our company. All expenses: postage, mileage, licensing etc. come from monies given for that express purpose.

Tuskawilla Shepherds picked up food today for our first delivery of the 2026–2027 school year! 🎒

Once again this year, we’re honored to support food pantries at 10 local elementary schools, helping make sure children and families have access to food when they need it most.

Today’s pickup is just the beginning of another year of neighbors helping neighbors and our community coming together to make a difference. Every bag, every box, and every donation helps put food on a family’s table. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helps make this mission possible! We couldn’t do it without our generous supporters and volunteers.

💙 Happy National Nonprofit Day! 💙

Today, we’re celebrating the power of neighbors helping neighbors and we’d love for you to celebrate with the Tuskawilla Shepherds!

The new school year has started, and we are gearing up for our first food delivery on September 9th. Through this program, we provide food to the food pantries at 10 Seminole County elementary schools, helping children experiencing food insecurity have something to bring home over the weekend.

We purchase food in bulk from Sam’s Club and Second Harvest Food Bank, stretching every donation as far as possible to help feed local children and families.

Spreading Love Through Our Community ❤️

The Tuskawilla Shepherds have been busy preparing Love Kits to share with members of our community experiencing homelessness.

In addition, we received donated Family Food Packs from Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, which will also be distributed to those in need.

This Sunday, the Love Kits and Family Food Packs will be available at Tuskawilla United Methodist Church for members of our congregation to take into the community and share with others. Together, we have an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ by extending kindness, hope, and practical support to our neighbors.
