I wanted you to be the first to know that Iām running for Mayor of Winter Park in the March, 2021 election. Iām very excited to serve and am reaching out early so that I can ensure your issues become my priorities.
I believe the next Mayor should have a strong business background, a clear vision to keep Winter Park's charm, and a commitment to open and transparent government.
I served as a Winter Park City Commissioner from 2008 ā 2011, during the Great Financial Crisis. When the City was forced to refinance the utility bonds, I used my finance experience to save the City $30 million. As we now face economic challenges due to Coronavirus, I believe our City needs strong financial leadership more than ever.
My wife Jennifer and I raised our children here and are passionate about Winter Park and its history. We live here because of the beautiful, diverse, and safe neighborhoods, the parks and lakes, the tree canopy, and the gentle and human scale of our historic downtown. I want to keep our Village charm and character as our community thrives.
