Winter Haven PD's events for Special Olympics Florida

The Polk County Torch Run is tomorrow morning. Officers will be leaving Northgate Publix at around 9:30 AM. We hope to see you on the way to Southeast Plaza Publix. Honk, wave, and cheer on the officers!

Tomorrow morning, the Law Enforcement Torch Run will be coming through Winter Haven. The run will kick off at 9 am from Publix in Northgate Shopping Center (Hwy 17, NW) running South down Hwy 17 to Cypress Gardens Blvd. The run will turn on Cypress Gardens Blvd. going east to Publix at Southgate. Step out and cheer the runners on as they participate in this wonderful event. (Drivers be aware that there will be activity in the southbound lanes of Hwy 17 and eastbound lanes of Cypress Gardens Blvd that could slow travel down for a short time)

Today is the 13th Annual WHPD 5k - 3/14/26! We are excited to see all of you! Packet pick up starts at 6:30 and event starts at 8!

Don’t forget we have the American flag art raffle! We take cash or credit. You don’t have to be present to win this raffle prize!
