The Candidate:
James E. Hogan, Retired Capt. Polk County Sheriff's Office after 31 years of service. As a kid I lived on Ave P NW, but I now reside in Buckeye Haven.

I presently serve as a commissioner on the Winter Haven Housing Authority. During my service there the agency moved from trouble status to a high performance designation from (HUD).

I am also a member of the Board of Directors of Polk Sheriff's Charities, where I serve as Vice President. Board member for Seeds of the Nation Mentor Group. Board member of Hurst Chapel Empowerment Center Athletic Director of Winter Haven Wolverines Football and Cheerleading.
