National Assisted Living Week - Day Two - The Space Age. We all sported colorful, metallic headbands, snacked on freeze dried foods and drank Tang.
We also played space trivia and we shared experiences in our lives where we took risks.
We wrapped up the afternoon with one of our favorite live music performers David Scott, and he featured some songs about space.

This week, communities across Grace Management are celebrating the people, experiences, and connections that make senior living so meaningful. 💜

In recognition of National Assisted Living Week and this year’s theme, “Shining Through the Years,” we’re celebrating the innovation, creativity, experiences, and ideas that have shaped generations. Throughout the week, our communities will explore everything from the Space Age and the art of innovation to technology, lifelong learning, and what the future may hold.

To our residents, associates, families, and volunteers—thank you for the stories you share, the connections you create, and the many ways you continue to inspire what comes next.

On Wednesday, we played some trivia based on Highways across the country in celebration of Route 66's 100 year anniversary. For the next 2 months we will be tracking our miles as a community to walk the length of Route 66. On selected Wednesdays we will come together for a Route 66 activity and on selected evenings we will feature movies that take place on Route 66 or take place in a state or town along the Route. Last week we showed Cars and later this month we will show The Outsiders which takes place in Oklahoma.
