Flat Rock Middle School is proud to celebrate the success of our 1st Annual Fiction to Action Community Service Project! 🎉
After reading Refugee by Alan Gratz, our 7th-grade students turned compassion into action, creating 37 Flyer Care Kits and collecting 175+ toiletry items to support those in need.
Half of the care kits will remain right here at school, available through Student Services with Ms. Rivera to support our own students and families throughout the year. The other half was donated to Crisis Control Ministry, Inc., extending kindness and care into our greater community.
This project would not have been possible without the incredible support of our parents and staff. Thank you for coming together to make a difference!
Most importantly, we are so proud of our 7th graders. The joy on their faces as they realized the impact of their work says it all. They are truly capable of amazing things, and this is just the beginning. 💙✨
