This class is part of the Arboretum Adult Education series held at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC. This class will be held in person at Walnut Hall in Tanglewood Park. Registered participants will receive driving directions.

We've moved! Beginning today, May 21, the NC Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, will begin operating in our new location in the new Forsyth County Agricultural Park at 7232 Forsyth Center Drive in Tobaccoville, N.C.

Cooperative Extensionโ€™s phone number remains the same: 336-703-2850. Soil testing kits will not be available after hours at the new location and must be picked up during business hours from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

This STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Camp is like no other you have ever been to! You will get a chance to use multiple types of robotics and coding programs. You will be challenged to create a catapult, use other robotics using WeDo, Makey Makey, indoor drones, and learn all about AI! Lunch and snacks will be provided.

June 29 - July 1 from 8:30 AM to 4 PM, with transportation included to the Rockingham County Extension Office.

Congratulations to our incredible Forsyth 4-H'ers who competed in the 2026 4-H Wildlife Habitat Education Program (WHEP) State Contest! The Senior Team pictured here will be advancing to the National 4-H WHEP Contest, which will be held in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Alongside this team and their 1st Place Senior Team win, Forsyth 4-H members achieved the following awards:
1st Place Junior Individual
1st Place Junior Team
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Senior Individual
3rd Place Senior Team

Competing against more than 60 4-H'ers from other counties in North Carolina, these youth showed the power of hard work, studying consistently, and being good competitors. Join us in celebrating their accomplishments, and wish the Senior Team "good luck" at the National WHEP Contest!

North Carolina 4-H youth put their wildlife knowledge and habitat management skills to the test at the 2026 4-H Wildlife Habitat Education Program State Contest.

Held at the Eno River Associationโ€™s Confluence Natural Area in Orange County, the competition brought together 71 participants from across the state to compete in wildlife identification, habitat evaluation, aerial photo interpretation, and wildlife management recommendations.

Congratulations to all of the participants, and to Forsyth County for earning the top Senior Division team score and the opportunity to represent North Carolina at the National 4-H WHEP Invitational this summer!
