Today was an UNBELIEVABLY special day at JES as we welcomed back our 2026 high school graduates...from Reagan HS, Mt Tabor HS, West Forsyth HS, Atkins HS, Middle College, Early College, Forsyth Country Day & RJR. It was the best homecoming we've had in years!

There is so much good in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.

🍎✨The Best Lunch Date of the Year: Come Have Lunch With Your Kid(s)!

Looking for a fun way to surprise your favorite student(s)? Tomorrow is the grand finale of our Teacher Appreciation Week, and we want to finish the week on a high note!

We are looking for a few more volunteers to cover lunch duty. It’s the perfect excuse to come in, see those cafeteria smiles firsthand, and enjoy a "lunch date" with your kiddo and their friends. By stepping in, you’re giving our incredible teachers the ultimate gift: a full, duty-free lunch break to recharge.

Let’s fill these last few spots and make this the best day of the week!

Today, the halls of Jefferson Elementary are a little brighter because we’re celebrating our favorite cheerleader! 🥳✨

Mrs. McGregor, thank you for leading with your fierce heart, caring for us, and always being the first to celebrate our students' wins. We are so lucky to have your energy, smiles, and smarts at the heart of our school.
