Welcome Viking Village's New Principal!

The WS/FCS Board of Education has approved and named Bridget Hayes as the new principal of North Forsyth High School.

Mrs. Hayes received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She got her Master of Arts from Gardner-Webb University.

She began her career in education as a science teacher in Durham Public Schools. She began with WS/FCS as a science teacher at Jefferson Middle School in 2011. She was the interim principal and assistant principal at the Career Center and most recently the assistant principal at Mineral Springs Middle School.

Hayes will replace Melita Wise who is retiring. Hayes begins her new role on January 3, 2023.

Viking Seniors! We are looking for a talented, creative Senior to represent the graduating class of 2022. Submit your best t-shirt design by Feb. 11th into our Senior t-shirt design contest. Voting starts the week of the 14th. The winning Senior will be presented with the t-shirt they designed, along with a gift card. See Ms. Hinkle in Rm 132 if you have any questions about submitting!
