Over the last few days, we’ve seen an incredible outpouring of support for our First Responders’ 9/11 Tribute Boxes. Thanks to our generous donors and dedicated volunteers, we’re now able to honor not only the original list of firehouses, but also expand our outreach to even more of the local heroes who devote their lives to serving our community.

We’re close, but the work isn’t finished. We still need volunteers to help complete this important project. There are more bags to fill, more boxes to wrap and load, and now several additional locations added for next week’s delivery.

Just a few more days left to drop off donations, and thanks to our amazing community, we’re making great progress!

Right now we have:🥨 323 salty items 🍪 409 sweets💧 78 small water bottles

We need 500 of each item to fully supply all 24 stations, so we’re almost there on snacks, but we are still in urgent need of small water bottles to close the gap.

Every donation helps us serve our first responder community. Your generosity, your heart, and your willingness to step up make all the difference. Thank you for continuing to support this effort and for standing with those who serve us every day.

The office is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 AM–2 PM.

In addition, we’ll have volunteers on-site filling the bags during the following extended hours:

Wednesday, 9/2 from 4–7 PM
Thursday, 9/3 from 9 AM–2 PM
Friday, 9/4 from 4–7 PM

If you’d like to help, come join us, we’d love to have you there as we prepare everything for our first responders.

3) 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Help Pack! 🤝
Families with children are welcome to help pack the goody bags and/or deliver the boxes. It’s a great way for our children or grandchildren to participate in honoring our first responders, who love seeing the kiddos.

🗓️ Please join us! Kim will be at the office during the first week of September for volunteers who want to help assemble the goody bags.
