Tomorrow, these "kids" will walk across the stage as graduates.

As we look through these photos from years past, we're reminded just how far they've come—from their first days in our schools, to field trips, performances, games, celebrations, and countless moments of learning and growth.

In what feels like the blink of an eye, those young students have become the Class of 2026.

We are so proud of the people they have become and excited for the journeys that lie ahead.

Seniors! Reminder that graduation rehearsal will take place on TOMORROW from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM. All graduating seniors must attend. Caps and gowns will be distributed at rehearsal. Payment options accepted: cash, Venmo, Cash App, or check. The cost is $26.

Graduation will be held on Saturday, June 13, at 1:00 PM. All seniors must arrive at school and report to the new gym by 12:00 PM to prepare, put on caps and gowns, pin flowers, and take class photos. Graduation begins promptly at 1:00 PM. Doors to the main gym will open to families at 12:00 PM.

Our Pre-K students ended the school year with a fun-filled afternoon of outdoor activities, laughter, and celebration. It was a joyful way to mark the end of a successful year and create lasting memories for our youngest Spartans.

As the year comes to a close, we are excited to see the continued growth of our Pre-K program. With more families choosing Winooski for their early learning journey, the program continues to expand and strengthen our commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education for the community.

Today, Winooski's 5th graders were celebrated as they prepare to transition to middle school. Students, families, and staff gathered in the cafeteria for a special recognition ceremony honoring their accomplishments, growth, and memories made throughout their elementary school years.

A highlight of the event was the continuation of a beloved Winooski tradition: each student received a copy of Ish by Peter H. Reynolds. More than a keepsake, the book has accompanied students throughout their years at JFK Elementary School, with teachers adding personal notes, messages, and words of encouragement each year. By the time students reach 5th grade, the book becomes a collection of memories, reflections, and relationships that tell the story of their elementary school journey.

As students begin this next chapter, the book serves as a powerful reminder of the teachers, experiences, and community that have supported them along the way. Congratulations to our 5th graders—we are excited to see them continue to learn, grow, and thrive in middle school.
