On a daily basis I am asked who are you supporting for this office next year and who are you supporting for that office. My response is, “At the moment, I’m keeping my powder dry til qualifying deadline has come and gone to see what the choices will be.”
I am not, however, keeping my powder dry when it comes to the Office of State Agriculture and Commerce Commissioner. I am fully endorsing and supporting current State Representative Vince Mangold from Lincoln Co., Ms! The attachment shares his announcement. I invite you to join me in supporting Vince in his campaign to continue to serve Mississippi on a much broader and effective scale. Good luck Gentleman!

As a new school year begins, I want to wish all the students, teachers, and staff an amazing year ahead.
To the students: Believe in yourselves, work hard, stay curious, and never stop striving to reach your goals. Make new friends, create great memories, and enjoy every opportunity to learn and grow.
To the teachers and staff: Thank you for the dedication, patience, and encouragement you give each day. May you continue to inspire young minds, build meaningful relationships, and make learning a positive and rewarding experience.

Well, it appears Region 2 of the Mississippi Forestry Commission has more big shoes to fill. Man! Hate to see these good ones retire, but I know we’re blessed with dedicated, hard working, conscientious men and women here in our great state. That’s what it takes to step up and fill these shoes.
Congratulations Louis Ray, and thank you, my friend, for your service to people of Mississippi and Region 2 for two and a half decades. God bless you in your future endeavors!
