Now that I've established my qualifications, I would like to talk about how I would make Winona State a better place, if elected. One thing I have become very aware of, is how students treat the environment. I urge students to throw their trash away, instead of littering. I have noticed this to be a huge problem, especially near the parking lots, and would like to increase funding for clubs that focus on improving the environment, which in turn, will make Winona State a better place.

Hello friends and family! My name is Sarah Henry, and I am running for one of the sophomore class seats in the Winona State Student Senate. I believe I am qualified for this position, because of my 5 year experience with mock government on the state level, and my one year of experience of mock government on the national level. I am also double majoring in Political Science and Public Administration, and partake in the Political Science Association on campus. I believe that a seat in the student senate will give me the collegiate experience I need, in order to succeed career wise.
