Northeast Louisiana Ambulance graduated 6 new Advanced EMTs tonight. After passing the National Registry examination for AEMT they will receive their Louisiana license and will be practicing AEMT -EMS providers in the 4 parishes NELA covers.

We extend our heartfelt sympathy and deepest condolences to the entire Acadian Ambulance team on the sudden and tragic passing of paramedic Fred Johnson.

To our Acadian colleagues — especially those in north Louisiana — please know that our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this time. We stand with you in grief and remembrance of Fred.

An honor walk will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday at Minden Medical Center. May Fred's compassion and service continue to touch lives even now.

Please keep his family in your prayers. ❤️‍🩹
