π₯ππ Fairfield Community Food Bank Summer Reading Program πππ₯
Join us TOMORROW, June 23rd at 11:00 AM for a fun, hands-on learning experience with the Fairfield Community Food Bank!
This interactive program will explore archaeology, history, and food in a way that's both educational and delicious! Children will:
π Learn about archaeology through a video presentation and a special Peanut Butter & Jelly Archaeology demonstration (made with sun butter to accommodate allergies).
πΊ Discover how people lived and obtained food during four different time periods, from prehistoric times to the present day.
π₯« Learn about the important work of the Fairfield Community Food Bank and how community food drives help local families.
π¨ Decorate their own collection box to take home and use for gathering donations.
π Bring back donated food items for the Food Bank and earn a special prize from the library!
πͺ Become junior archaeologists by excavating chocolate chips from cookiesβand enjoy a cookie snack afterward!
π Registration is required. Please call the library at (803) 635-4971 to sign up. Space is limited, and registration closes on Monday, June 22.
