Franklin Parish Council on Aging

Franklin Parish Council on Aging FPCOA is a nonprofit organization geared to enhancing the lives of those 60 yrs. of age and older.

The Franklin Parish Council on Aging serves persons 60 and older by addressing the needs of the total individual and implementing programs to meet those needs. The organization is a non – profit organization which contracts with the State of Louisiana for funds. Since the funds are limited, the organization must rely on donations and fundraisers to subsidize the programs. The organization operates

under a volunteer Board of Directors. The services are directed toward assisting the elderly and poverty clients to retain the level of independence they choose by providing the following services. Congregate Meals

National Family Caregivers Information/Referral

Do you want to be
a part of a fun organization?

The Franklin Parish Council on Aging has an immediate opening for a part- time (20 hrs. a week) Site Mamager at our Crowville Meal Site. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with the elderly, serve pre- plated meals following the Governors Office of Elderly Affairs safety protocols and Council on Aging guidelines, and plan engaging activities for clients.
Applications available Monday- Thursday 8:00am— 1:00 pm at 714 Adams Street Winnsboro, La.
