So much happening today! 🍀

•Stop by Rock Around the Clock and visit the Farm Showcase & Youth Art Showcase in the Farmers Market Building 🐓

•While you’re there - complete the Farm Showcase Passport for a fun prize - color a quilt square for our quilt project - and write a thank you note to our local farmers 🍀

•Then head on over to the State Fair for the 4-H Opening Ceremony at 1 pm in the Nutt Cattle Arena 🐄

🌱 Exciting Opportunity for Fairfield County High School Students! 🌱

The Seeds of Success Program, in partnership with the ACRE initiative at the South Carolina Department of Agriculture AND Set In Stone Sustainability Farm, is now accepting applications!

This hands-on cohort program will accept up to 5 students from each Fairfield County high school—including Fairfield Central High, Midlands STEM Charter School, Richard Winn Academy, and homeschooled students.

💡 Students will:

Learn from local farmers and agriculture professionals

Explore local agriculture, business planning, market research, public speaking, and more

Develop their own agribusiness idea

Compete in a Shark Tank-style pitch competition
