Summer Reading is here, and we’re celebrating with a full season of fun activities for all ages. From crafts to special events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Unearth a Story with This Year’s Reading Challenge!
We’re introducing Reader Zone as our new platform for tracking reading progress. It offers a simple, organized way for families to log minutes throughout the challenge.

How to Join:
• Download the Reader Zone app
• Tap “Get Started” and follow the prompts to create your account
• Add your reader(s) — one account can manage multiple participants
• Enter program code: b43b7
• Select the appropriate reading group for each reader

Prizes remain part of the program!
Although the reading log format has changed, readers will still earn rewards as they reach designated milestones.

Come out on Saturday, June 6, for our Kickoff Event at Eagle’s Nest Mini Golf Winnsboro Tx with FREE admission from 2–4 PM.
While you're there, you can sign up for a library card and register for the Summer Reading Challenge, which is going digital this year!

Early registration for the reading challenge opens Monday if you’d like to get a head start or can’t make it to the kickoff.

A friendly reminder about large donations

We are so grateful for the generosity of our community and for everyone who contributes to the Little Free Libraries and the Winnsboro Community Exchange Program. Your donations truly make a difference!

However, we kindly ask that large donations, such as multiple boxes or bags, be coordinated directly with someone at the Library or the WCEP. When large amounts of items are left at the Little Free Libraries, as shown in the photos below, they can be difficult to manage and may exceed what either organization can properly take in at that moment.

We absolutely appreciate your kindness and willingness to give. To help us keep these community spaces tidy, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone, please reach out before leaving large donations.

Next week is going to be a bit unusual for all of us, and we truly appreciate your understanding. With a conference, our Standard Club annual library benefit, and a holiday all happening at once, our hours will be adjusted:

Monday: Closed
Tuesday & Wednesday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Thursday – Saturday: Closed

A quick reminder: During Wednesday’s benefit, library services will pause from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and resume afterward.
Thanks so much for your patience. We’ll be back to our normal hours the following week!
