Today was the tops with the gracious Vice President Kamala Harris at a get out the vote rally at Chicago’s world famous improv theater, Second City. Thank you to everyone who supported us in our successful campaign. We don’t have an opponent in the general election but make sure you exercise your privilege to vote up and down the ballot on Tuesday. Our democracy is too precious to sit on the sidelines!

A moving day of remembrance for those who made the ultimate sacrifice, including 110 brave souls from Wilmette going back to the Civil War. Michael Rogers, retired Four Star Admiral, Director of National Security and US Cyber Command, and Wilmette native, came “home” to remind us that those who serve knowing they may not return do so because they are committed to an America that is larger than oneself. His words of unity also complemented the theme of Wilmette’s sesquicentennial year. Let’s take a moment to remember those who lost their lives defending us.
