The grounds are coming to life as steam engines roll in and exhibitors make their final preparations. The Reunion begins tomorrow, but the excitement starts today.

At 3:30 PM, don’t miss the Harvest Day Parade through Mount Pleasant as tractors, steam engines, and classic equipment roll through town.

Then tonight at 7:00 PM, join us for the Don Carlson Memorial Horse Pull, a powerful tradition that kicks off Reunion week.

We’ll see you September 3–7 in Mount Pleasant.

I took office as Henry County Attorney after a special election on April 7th. I inherited the current budget from the previous County Attorney and the fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30 of the following year. This graph reflects the County Attorney’s office budget each fiscal year since 2020. As you can see, the current 26-27 budget amount was far less than it has been in over seven years. The cost of prosecuting cases has not decreased. By working with law enforcement, our office has reached a record number of convictions each month. While my opponent has politicized this issue, I will not be distracted by recent political hits.

My goal as Henry County Attorney is to continue upholding the law. I am focused on an effective and productive office, going after career criminals and protecting vulnerable citizens and children. I am honored to be doing the work that I promised and I plan to continue doing so following my re-election.
