Thank you to the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Winfield for recognizing all of our local first responders as we remember those lost in the September 11, 2001, attacks at the World Trade Center (New York City), the Pentagon (Arlington, Virginia), and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. WINFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT INSTALLS OPIOD RESCUE BOX

The Winfield Police Department has partnered with "Sounds of Sarah" to place an opioid rescue box containing free doses of Narcan (Naloxone) inside the first set of lobby doors at the Winfield Police Department located at 10688 Randolph Street, Winfield, Indiana.

The police station doors are open to the public 24 hours a day and anyone that may experience a need for a future opioid rescue, are welcome to take several rescue devices. A red EMERGENCY 911 Phone inside the lobby provides direct access to 911 Dispatchers who can summon police officers to the police station for any type of emergency or non-emergency purposes.

The public is encouraged to visit www.SoundsofSarah.org to learn more about opioid related drug overdoses and various ways to seek assistance for help.

‼️UPDATE TO E 117th AVE UTILITY PROJECT‼️
East 117th Avenue will reopen at approximately 6:00pm on Monday, May 18, 2026. The utility project will be ON HOLD for 2 weeks before the road will be closed again. We will post updated information on any anticipated traffic disruptions associated with the project on our website www.winfield.in.gov and the Town of Winfield, Indiana's pages
