The City would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Smart Coatings STL LLC and Chriskennisonllc, incredible business owners whose generosity made it possible to repair our fairgrounds and significantly improve safety for our community.

While exploring options to repair the concrete damage caused by last year’s fire, we also discussed concerns about how slick the surface became when wet. One suggested solution, adding a flake coating for both safety and appearance, initially seemed out of reach due to cost. Thanks to these businesses, that solution became a reality. Their team generously donated nearly $20,000 in time, labor, and materials to complete this project.

This remarkable contribution will have a lasting impact, making our fairgrounds safer, stronger, and more enjoyable for everyone. We are truly grateful for your support and investment in our community.

Thank you!
