Please join the Windsor Volunteer Fire Department in congratulating Firefighter Alex Rodriguez on his graduation from Firefighter 1. Alex completed his certification through the Hartford County Regional Fire School at the Connecticut Fire Academy.

This achievement represents months of rigorous training and a steadfast commitment to the safety of our community. We commend Firefighter Rodriguez for his hard work and are proud to recognize this significant milestone in his service.

There’s still time to step up to the plate. The Battle of the Badges Softball Tournament is set for August 15th at Windsor High School, and we’re still looking for fire departments to register and compete in this year’s charity event.

Teams from across the region will come together for a day of competition, camaraderie, and bragging rights, all while supporting a meaningful cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Fallen Firefighters Memorial at the Connecticut Fire Academy, honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Think your department has what it takes?
