Join our FRC Coordinator, Christina Pace, for Wellness Walks every Wednesday in September, starting September 9!

Wellness Walks were created so Windsor parents can find a sense of community and build friendships within Windsor. During the walks, Christina will share helpful resources with families and foster a supportive environment that is very important for young parents.

Starting September 10, Oliver Ellsworth Elementary School will also be hosting open play groups on Thursdays from 9:30–11:30 AM. We invite families to come over and play together!

Please join us next Wednesday, September 9, at 9:30 AM outside the Windsor Public Library, and Thursday, September 10, at 9:30 am, at Oliver Ellsworth Elementary! Windsor Public Schools successfully hosted our 5th annual Back-to-School Block Party! Thousands of Windsor residents came out to celebrate the end of summer, meet up with their friends, and learn more about various programs available to children in Windsor.

We want to sincerely thank our wonderful sponsors - Amazon, Windsor Chamber of Commerce, Niagara Water, MDC, and the Kiwanis Club of Windsor for making this event possible. Thanks to you, we were able to host such a wonderful, warm event that brought the Windsor community together.

What a way to begin the 2026–2027 school year! 💙

Windsor Public Schools came together for ConvoNation 2026, bringing our entire district family under one roof to reconnect, celebrate, and set the direction for the year ahead.

Superintendent Dr. Noha Abdel-Hady shared her vision for Windsor Public Schools centered on three priorities: academic excellence, strong character, and a true sense of belonging for every student and every adult.

This year’s gathering also included a very special surprise. Dr. Abdel-Hady welcomed Mr. Taylor, her own 9th grade Math teacher, whose belief in her as a student helped shape the educator and leader she would become. His presence served as a powerful reminder that the words, relationships, and beliefs of one educator can stay with a student for a lifetime, and be the reason a student goes on to shape the lives of thousands of students in a district.

As we open our doors for another school year, we are ready to challenge our students, believe in their potential, support one another, and continue building a school community where everyone belongs.

One district. One community. One Windsor.
