Who are you rooting for!?

WMS students—see you at lunch to watch teachers vs students futbol/soccer matchup!

Quick recap- teachers won the last game against kids for basketball, but we’re not so sure about this matchup. They say an average game players will run 6 miles, and need to move fast with minimal breaks because the bench is limited. Students are fast and experts at dodging teachers. Their clever coaching and limitless bench might give students an extra edge.

But will the teachers bring in a ringer? Come find out at lunch. (Rules—no eating outside, no messes, keep it chill and keep it fun. Don’t forget to rep your favorite soccer team!

Wow! It’s almost time! (End of the year things!)

8th grade—IMPORTANT YOU MUST HAVE A TICKET (it’s free) to attend the BBQ Wednesday from 5-7pm. IRS in your email (search bbq)

Parents WOW! Thank you! There’s still time to drop off completed baskets or gift cards. Huge thank you and appreciation goes out to who always go above and beyond with making sure our WMS kids are always taken care of!

What’s happening this week!? Tomorrow is the teachers vs kids soccer match! Wear your soccer gear!

WMS students—Rock paper scissors, schoolwide challenge! Keep it fun and keep it chill. Once you lose your beads you’re out. Remember its rock paper scissors shoot. you cannot compete against a teacher unless you have at least 10 beads and you cannot play during class time only during breaks.

Promotion is 10am Thursday and it’s also the last day of school which is a minimum day.

You are responsible for turning in your books in Chromebook if necessary. Be responsible and do it early.

…and most of all, don’t forget to have the best time this week. Complete your schoolwork, say thank you to your teachers and make some memories with your friends!

14 years of showing 7th graders that math makes sense. That is no small thing.

Mrs. Klemin has been in these halls long enough to know what Windsor kids need before they do. She brings energy, she brings patience, and she brings the kind of consistency that students remember long after they leave our school.

14 years of first days. 14 years of test prep season. 14 years of making fractions, equations, and everything in between feel like something students can actually do.

We are not just lucky to have her. We are better because of her. Help us in congratulating our one and only Mrs. Klemin!

Catorce años demostrando a los alumnos de séptimo grado que las matemáticas tienen sentido. Eso no es poca cosa.

La Sra. Klemin lleva el tiempo suficiente en estas aulas como para saber lo que los alumnos de Windsor necesitan incluso antes que ellos. Aporta energía, paciencia y una constancia que los estudiantes recuerdan mucho después de graduarse.

Catorce años de primeros días de clase. Catorce años de preparación para exámenes. Catorce años haciendo que las fracciones, las ecuaciones y todo lo demás parezca algo que los alumnos realmente pueden comprender.

It is time to shine, WMS!
This week our students are showing the world what they are made of and our staff is right there with them. That is what Thrive and Thank Week is all about. We are celebrating the people who pour into our kids every day, who go above and beyond, and who make our students believe they can do anything.
What a week it has already been. Monday was May the 4th Be With You, Tuesday was Tropical Day, and today we showed out with Country vs. Country Club.
Here is what is still ahead:
Thursday is Teacher/Student Switch Day and Friday is Frat vs. Sorority aka College Day. You do not want to miss it.
Cheer on your student and don’t forget to thank your teachers and all WMS staff for everything they do. Let’s finish strong, WMS. We love you.

Es hora de brillar, WMS!
Esta semana nuestros estudiantes le están demostrando al mundo de qué están hechos y nuestro personal está con ellos. De eso se trata la Semana de Agradecimiento y Superación. Celebramos a las personas que se entregan a nuestros estudiantes cada día, que dan más de lo que se les pide y que les hacen creer que pueden lograr todo lo que se propongan.
Qué semana tan especial. El lunes fue el Día de la Fuerza, el martes el Día Tropical y hoy brillamos con el Día de Campo vs. Club Campestre.
Esto es lo que aún nos espera:
El jueves es el Día del Intercambio entre Maestros y Estudiantes y el viernes es el Día de la Universidad con Fraternidades vs. Hermandades. No se lo pierdan.
Animen a su hijo o hija y no olviden agradecer a sus maestros y a todo el personal de WMS por todo lo que hacen. Terminemos con fuerza, WMS. Los queremos.

Dance of the year is this Friday, April 24th from 6pm-8pm. It’s $20 and you get access to games, dj, photo-booth, treats and more! Dress to impress for the red carpet event!
