Windsor Severance Fire Rescue is an ISO Class 2 agency that provides fire and emergency services in Northern Colorado. Our District is 100 square miles of Weld and Larimer Counties and includes the towns of Windsor, Severance and parts of the Fort Collins, Loveland, Eaton and Greeley areas. ty involvement, and public education while striving for the highest level of professionalism to the 64,000 residents we serve. Our community outreach programs include CPR and First Aid classes, senior wellness, and fire prevention.

Watch for your WSFR Firefighters this Labor Day Weekend as we help Fill the Boot for MDA.

Since 1954, Firefighters across the country have collected critical funds in the community – one dollar at a time – as part of the Fill the Boot program to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). The partnership between MDA and the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) began when the IAFF signed a proclamation designating MDA as its charity of choice, vowing to continue raising awareness and funds to ensure effective treatments and therapies are found. The dollars raised through Fill the Boot fund MDA’s mission of empowering people living with neuromuscular disease to live longer, more independent lives.

Board members and chief officers will be on hand to explain what we're looking at and why, and to answer your questions. This is a come-and-go event, so stop in anytime between 5-7pm.
Your input matters; this is your chance to weigh in before the decision is made.

This afternoon after clearing an incident at 7th and New Liberty Road, WSFR Battalion 401 was involved in a collision involving a juvenile on an electric scooter at New Liberty Road and Spring Bloom Drive. The battalion chief immediately radioed the accident in to Dispatch and the appropriate agencies responded. The juvenile was evaluated on scene by paramedics and released to a parent. Further updates will be given as they become available.

Please help us welcome WSFR’s newest firefighter, Austin DeLesline. Austin comes to us from the Fairbanks Fire Department in Alaska.

He was born in Florida and moved to Alaska when he was 4. He grew up in Anchorage where he played baseball and hockey. He went to the University of Alaska Fairbanks where he studied Fire Science. He has been in the fire service for seven years, spending the last four at the Fairbanks Fire Department. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outside and watching and playing hockey and baseball. He and his girlfriend, Morgan, also love to travel.

Three members of the WSFR Wildland Team were deployed to California with a Type 3 Wildland Engine as part of a national resource order. The crew is expected to be deployed for at least two weeks. Stay safe guys!
