SCAM ALERT!!!

Please be aware of the following scam that was report by one of our seniors, she was not fooled!

American Senior Award Fund - Caller will advise that she had won $8.5 million dollars, a Mercedes, and $5,000 a month for the rest of her life. She was advised that she needed to send $800 to expedite the check. She saw right through them and did not give any information.

Please do not fall for this or any other "Too Good to Be True" offers.

Sharing silly moments with family is important. Sharing Medicare numbers with people who ask for it over the phone, through email, or at the door is risky.

If you have a family member or take care of someone over 65, talk to them about never sharing their Medicare number to unsolicited requests. This is likely a scam and could lead to medical identity theft.
