Today, we had so many littles participate in Horse Camp! One thing we learned is that horses are incredibly patient, even when we’re feeling nervous. Despite their size, they’re really just big cuddle bugs.

My favorite moment of the day was watching one camper overcome her fear. As soon as she got on the horse, she became scared and wanted to get off. One of the instructors gently started asking her questions: “What’s your favorite color? What’s your favorite food? Do you have any pets?” Almost instantly, she began to relax.

It was such a powerful reminder that sometimes we’re only as scared as our minds convince us we are. Those little negative thoughts can feel so loud, but when we redirect our focus to things that bring us joy, comfort, and confidence, we often discover we’re capable of more than we thought.

Today wasn’t just about learning to ride horses, it was about learning that courage isn’t the absence of fear. Sometimes, it’s simply choosing to focus on something brighter and taking the next step anyway. 💚🍀

They showed up, they competed, and they had an absolute blast! From beginning to end, this experience was everything we hoped for and more. We grew closer as a team, learned how to lean on one another, and kept pushing through every moment with smiles on our faces. Most of all, we had so much fun together and made memories we’ll never forget!💚🍀
