2026 Navajo Nation Museum Niha’áłchíní Na’ach’ąąhí Doolééł Contest Online Exhibit

Nstaago ahéhee' to ALL participants, their families, teachers, and communities for their support in honoring Niha’áłchíní! NNM is happy to share this online exhibit during Navajo Nation Fair’s Kids Day. Please continue to support young artists in our communities!

The coloring page was created for Navajo Nation Museum by: Jalen Anderson from Mariano Lake, New Mexico.

CONTEST WINNERS: As you view the online exhibit, know that each participant is a winner, and this contest was very difficult to judge. A coloring page is not just a coloring page, each artist learned and practiced hand-eye coordination, color theory, fine motor skills, all while seeing a reflection of themselves and those around them! You’ll see beautiful colors and skills in the pages presented!

MASTER SILVERSMITH EUGENE ROSS & STUDENT EXHIBIT OPENING
Date: Friday, September 04, 2026

Location: Navajo Nation Museum, Window Rock, AZ

Navajo Nation Museum’s newest exhibit highlights & celebrates Master Silversmith Eugene Ross & Students from NNM’s 2025 Silversmith Workshop. Check out their works of art, hear from Mr. Ross & students about their experience & updates! The workshop was in collaboration with Mesalands Community College and Evergreen's House of Welcome.
The exhibit opening is free to attend and refreshments will be provided.

*EDIT: Please note in NNM's original post of the event, NNM had given credit to Mesa Community College, NNM meant to give credit to MESALANDS Community College where Master Silversmith Eugene Ross is also an instructor. Thanks for the understanding.
