Modernizing Navajo Nation Government Through Integrated Technology

The Navajo Nation is advancing into a new era of government operations through the implementation of several modern, integrated systems designed to improve efficiency, transparency, accountability, and service delivery for our employees, programs, and communities.

Dynamics 365 Finance provides modern financial management tools that streamline accounting, procurement, budgeting, and reporting processes, helping the Navajo Nation manage resources more efficiently and effectively.

Budget Intelligence Development System (BIDS) modernizes financial planning, budgeting, and reporting by improving data accuracy, strengthening transparency, and providing leaders with better information for decision-making.

Dayforce HR & Payroll transforms human resources and payroll operations by giving employees easier access to pay, benefits, and workforce tools while providing managers and leaders with valuable workforce insights to support organizational growth and employee success.

Tribal Platforms – Vital Records, which successfully went live last year, modernizes enrollment and vital records services through automated workflows, faster processing times, and enhanced reporting capabilities that improve service to Navajo Nation members.

Together, these systems create a connected digital ecosystem that allows information to flow more efficiently across government operations. By integrating finance, budgeting, human resources, payroll, and enrollment services, the Navajo Nation is building a stronger, more responsive, and more accountable government prepared to meet the needs of today and future generations.

The Navajo Nation Office of the Controller (OOC) has received numerous inquiries regarding Hardship Assistance applications.

There is currently no active Hardship Assistance application process; please see the memo for additional information. Any websites, portals, or forms from previous programs are not active and should not be used.
