A TRUE HERO

You may have seen news reports of a recent accident involving a Barrow County School System school bus.

Today, we’d like to recognize the heroic actions of Barrow County Water Resources employee Miles Carpenter, who was first on the scene as he made his way to work — jumping out and helping students and the bus driver get safely off the bus while first responders were en route.

This is what true public service looks like, and we’d like to thank Miles for jumping into action and helping those in need. Please join us in recognizing a true hero!
