Today, our Baker K–2 students had an amazing opportunity to participate in “School on the Square” in downtown Wi******er, where they visited local businesses and learned more about the important roles they play in our community.
A huge THANK YOU to all of the local businesses that hosted our students during the morning sessions and helped create meaningful, real-world learning experiences for our children!
We also want to thank Wi******er Golf Club, Wi******er Bowl, and Towne Square Cinema for hosting students this afternoon.
Thank you as well to our Baker staff for keeping students safe, engaged, and together throughout the day, our office staff for organizing the countless details, our cafeteria staff for preparing lunches, our maintenance team for helping transport materials and lunches, our bus drivers, and our SRO for helping keep everyone safe while traveling around town. It takes the whole team to take the whole school on a field trip!
Today was a wonderful example of what makes our community so special: people coming together to support kids and learning. We are so grateful for each and every person who gave their time and energy to make this day such a success for our students!
